Dear Lakeshore Church Family—

This Sunday we’ll be trying to impact your “buckets”. In each case, we want
your buckets to get bigger.

On Sunday, we’re wrapping up our current series with a message on living our
short lives out well. We’ll look at how even when times are tough, life is
short enough to get through it all with God’s help. Did you know that the
average person lives for just over 27,000 days. In perspective, that is
fairly short. The average home makes twice that much in dollars… each
year! We’ll use the theme of the movie “The Bucket List” throughout the
service for context. We’ll begin with a theme-setting clip right at 9am and
11am so please be in your seats on time (and please don’t linger in the
Atrium when the services begin). Let’s all do our part to take in all God
has for us this and every Sunday.

And after each service, you will have an opportunity to learn more about
making a financial investment with our LC2 bond financing company, Rives
Leavell & Co. President Roland Leavell will be up from Mississippi to meet
with everybody after each service to discuss how it works and what you can
do to invest so that we achieve a double-win: you earn a solid interest
return and the church saves money on the commission for the bonds that are
sold. It is open to everyone (even your family or friends not at
Lakeshore). A few facts:

1) You can invest some forms of retirement and IRA money. It’s not
just your liquid assets.
2) You can buy bonds that are simple or compound interest.
3) You can buy them for various lengths of time.

As a bonus, Roland will be available on Monday and Tuesday by appointment
here at Lakeshore to discuss your unique situations too. So please stay
immediately after either church service for 20-25 minutes to learn more.
There is no obligation at all. BTW, The FriendShip Co. will watch your kids
during the presentation but you MUST let the classroom teacher know when you
drop your kids off before service.

These secure investments can help you increase the money in your “financial
buckets”. Lame, I know.

Thanks and we’ll see you on Sunday!
Pastor Vince

PS—I hope you received the marriage mailer this week. Pray for and invite
your friends to this series… especially if they want to consider renewing
their vows during a service and get all dressed up for it! More details in
the weeks to come. And FREE tickets for the Fireproof movie are available
at church for the Friday, June 12 showing at Lakeshore.
