This Week's Message

Common Ground This Week
Common midweek service will be on Thursday, October 22 at 7 pm.  We'll
postpone our Hebrews series for a week and instead teach on, "The
Meaning of Halloween: How "Hallowed" Is It?"  Communion will be served
as well.

Ignite Student Ministries This Thursday
6:30-8:15pm - All students grades 6th-12th are welcome!  Stay late until
9 pm to connect with others and play ping-pong, air hockey, video games,
etc.  

Lakeshore Young Adults Meet This Friday
The monthly meeting for the Lakeshore Young Adults will be 10/23/09.  It
will take place from 7:30PM to 9:00PM in the LCC auditorium.  We're
working on a meeting schedule for one Friday evening during the month.
We'll get together to hang out, have some worship, and hear a message.
Stay tuned for more details.

CareNet of LCC... 
Would like to remind you that October is Pastor / Staff Appreciation
Month. God's Word called us to give back to our Pastor's because all
they have given to and done for us (1 Thess. 5:12-13), and commands us
to honor those who minister to us (1 Timothy 5:17) October is designated
at Lakeshore for us to express Love and Appreciation to our LCC Staff &
Pastors. Would you prayerfully consider what God may have you do?

Friend Ship Company
We're having a special event for K-5th graders this Sunday. Please have
your K-5th graders in their classes by 8:45 or 10:45. Thanks very much!!
If you're coming to the Fall Festival on the 31st and are able to donate
a bag of candy (one per family), bring it to church this Sunday.

Harvest Baskets
If you know of an LCC family or individual who may benefit from a
basket, please contact the LCC office (392-5253).  Donations are being
accepted for the harvest baskets October 26-November 23 on the tables in
the back of the auditorium.    Stop by the Info Center for a list of
suggested donation items.

Ignite Student Ministries
Is shifting gears as soon as the Lakeshore Community Center is opened!
There will be 2 services designed specifically for 6th-12th grade
students every Sunday morning during the adult services (9:00 & 11:00).
Come join us in the multipurpose room and in ISM's brand new youth rooms
designed with teenagers in mind!

Just Mail Across The Room lists
If you forgot to bring your mail list back to church with you and would
still like for the church office to mail a Lakeshore brochure to someone
you'd like to see come to church, you still have time!  Bring it with
you to Common Ground or to Sunday service.  Drop it at the Info Center
or in the LCC Office mail folder.

LC2 Serving Opportunity:  If you'd like to volunteer to help with the
LC2 and are limited in physical activities, maybe you can help with the
feeding of other volunteers.  Trudy Jansen is looking for help with
