[LCC Announce] Vision Night and Just Walk Across The Room

Dear Lakeshore Family-

 

I hope to see you all tonight at Vision Night.  It starts at 7pm sharp
(with no music at the start) so we'll jump right into an opening prayer
and then the agenda for the evening that will also conclude with what I
hope will be a meaningful time of corporate prayer.  We'll be done by
8:30pm.

 

The agenda includes information on a variety of subjects, including the
LC2 addition, the Fall advertising plan, budget updates, a staff hiring
update (namely the Music Pastor search) and a vote by official members
on an Elder and two Trustees.   This is one of just two regularly
scheduled meetings we host each year so I hope you'll get the scope on
everything going on in the months ahead at church tonight.

 

This Sunday, we begin the formal 4-week campaign, "Just Walk Across The
Room" and our 4 consecutive weeks of Community Groups.  While 348 people
have signed up for Community Groups so far, there is still room for more
people in many groups that are not yet full.  You can sign up tonight at
Vision Night and if you haven't purchased your study guide yet, you can
purchase them for just $7 tonight as well.  They are needed for both
group discussion and homework so every individual will need their own.

 

My prayer and deepest desire is that we will all grasp and fully
appreciate "The Single Greatest Gift" ever given to us and how we can
begin the journey of sharing it with others..... if you're willing to
just walk across to the room.  We'll talk about the three things you'll
need (and none of them is complicated or really difficult).
