[LCC Announce] Pick-Pocketed By Your Past?

Dear Lakeshore Family-

 

We've all been pick-pocketed by our past.  

 

Something (or perhaps better the accumulation of many things) has snuck
up on us from the past and threatened to shipwreck our lives with guilt,
shame, discouragement and the like.  What have you done about it?  Have
you succeeded or just given up on ever being able to overcome it?  As we
wrap up our series "Identity Theft" this Sunday, we'll look at the most
common "past thieves" and how to leave the past where it belongs... in
the past!  This will be a great week to invite people to church because
we all have "a past".  Why not invite just 1 or 2 people between now and
Sunday and pray for them to attend?

 

This Sunday, we'll also begin selling tickets to the LCC 15th
anniversary event on Sunday evening, May 23.  There are a limited number
of tickets available so please get yours right away... like THIS Sunday
perhaps?

 

Before then, TONIGHT, we're holding a Baptism Celebration at Common
Ground.  A record number of people will be baptized and as always, the
evening is as inspirational for those of us taking these stories all in
as it is for the twenty-something people who will be sharing them.  Be
here Thursday at 7pm for all the fun.  We'll hold a reception afterward.
