[LCC Announce] Your chance to paint on Sunday

Dear Lakeshore-

 

This Sunday is your chance to paint at Lakeshore!  We'll be holding a
ministry fair after each of our shortened services on Sunday allowing
you to get involved in a number of serving teams.  Each of the 28 teams
will have an info-table stationed in the Atrium OR the Multipurpose Area
so you can find out what they are about.  You'll receive the map you
received last week helping you locate each one.

 

Will you look for a way to "paint" at Lakeshore?  Virtually every team
could use people with the right gifts to give their team a try.  All we
ask you to do is sign up for 2-3 teams (max) with no other obligation
beyond that other than to find out more about what they do and to
explore giving some aspect of the team a try to see if you're a "color
match".  Please pray about ways you could help on at least one of these
teams.  The list of teams is listed below.

 

Remember our goal during this series: no empty or dried-out paint
buckets!

 

 

SPEAKING OF PRAYER...

I'll have the privilege of leading our monthly, second Saturday Synergy
Prayer gathering.  I hope you will join me and others THIS Saturday from
9:00- 10:30am.  What could you do that is better than spending time with
God and others in reflection and prayer?

 

 

WHO YOU BRINGING ON EASTER?

Do you realize that Good Friday is just 3 weeks and a day away!  We have
two identical Good Friday services planned at 5pm & 7pm.  We also have
our Easter services, the largest attendance day of the year.  These
services will begin an important series, "Identity Theft: Recovering Who
You Are" that will help us discover meaning and life-significance
through understanding our true personal identity.  Why?  Because most
people have lost or are confused about who they really are.

 

Who are you going to invite and bring with you to Lakeshore for Easter
weekend services?  Next Sunday, we'll provide some invite items for you
to pass out to friends and family.

 

 

LIKE CLOCKWORK

This Sunday, we will "spring forward" our clocks one hour.  So don't
forget to set your clocks ahead (you don't want to be late for service,
do you :-)?)
