[LCC Announce] It's getting better all the time

Dear Lakeshore Family-

 

Some great things have been happening this Spring since our Good
Friday/Easter celebrations.  Consider...

 

...Super Sunday attendances (when the kids are in school :-))

...A number of people who are making first-time faith-commitments to
Christ (about 15 people the past few weeks)

...New Horizons seminars making a difference in people's lifestyle and
walk with God

...24 people baptized last Thursday (an all-time high for one event) and
many children dedicated to the Lord last Sunday

...Many people talking about appropriating a "new identity" in their
lives following the just completed series.

 

While not everything is rosy (BTW, it never is), things are really
looking up.  Thanks for being a vital part of the great things that are
happening.  Some of you have invited the people who are making some of
these important spiritual decisions in their life.  All of you play a
key role somehow.

 

And it only gets better this week!

 

This Thursday is National Day Of Prayer.  Hope to see you at 7pm at
First Bible Baptist Church (remember, NO Common Ground Midweek Service
this Thursday).

 

This Saturday is Synergy Day Of Prayer.  Join us from 9:00-10:30am and
pray about your needs and the church.  Childcare is available.

 

This Sunday is Mother's Day!  Women's Connection has a special gift for
the ladies (and wow, will you like it!).  And we'll kick off a new
series, "text me" and begin with, "if I could text my mother..."  I
think you'll enjoy the service as we honor moms and motherhood (even if
your mom doesn't have a cell phone!).

PS- LCC 15 year anniversary (Sunday afternoon/evening May 23) tickets
are available again this week.  Be sure to get yours this Sunday as
there is a limit of 300 people including kids.  First come. First
served.

 

PSS-Official members, please be sure to stay immediately after the May
16 service (either one) for the important 15-20 minute Mini-Member
Meeting.  Your attendance is important.  You should have received a
postcard last week.
