[Nmic] August Meeting Notice

The next NMIC meeting <http://www.newmeninchrist.org/Meeting_Notice.html>
is scheduled for Saturday, August 1st, starting at 8:00a.  The devotional
this month is titled "Fatherhood" presented by Ray Kaforey.  Just a reminder
that the meetings are now scheduled to run until 10:30 (and that still
wasn't enough time last month), so plan accordingly.  Please try and bring
another friend, co-worker, neighbor, or family member.  Or invite someone
you just met.  It really works!  Trust God.

 

As always, breakfast is provided to fill your stomachs along with plenty of
fellowship, prayer and worship to fill your heart and soul.

 

You are probably aware by now that our dear brother, Lon Thompson, was
called home last week.  A memorial service for Lon has been scheduled for
11:00am on Saturday, August 15 at Lakeshore.  Please keep Diane and all of
Lon's family in your prayers.  You will be missed Lon, but will remain in
our hearts.
