Women's Connection has become aware of an LCC member, a single mom, who is currently struggling through a very rough time financially.  She has been unemployed for several months.  Rent and RG&E payments have fallen behind, and cash is low even for food.  We know this is an especially difficult time for many people, but we thought that maybe if we put the word out, a little bit from many people can add up to help one person a lot.  

If you are able and would like to contribute a gift card for food or gasoline, or money towards rent or RG&E, all would be appreciated.  Please give them to Kathy Shepanski or Jennifer Shannon.

Most importantly, as Christians we know that prayer can change people and situations.  Would you please pray for this woman, and all of our fellow LCCers who are struggling right now.  The church praying together for the unemployed in our congregation at the end of service last week was powerful.

We say it and we believe it -- God is good all the time!
