Hello Prayer Warriors!

I am writing to ask for prayer for one of our girls, "Amanda."

I ran into her today when I was at DSS - she is facing eviction and appearingly hanging on by a thin line. She clung to her baby as she is her lifeline.  The little one appeared to be happy, fed and cared for.

I explored her alternative housing options with her, i.e., returning home. She explained to me her brother just came back from prison, her step-father now has her bedroom so there is no room for her there. Hence, "home" is not an option.  I also talked to her about 'appropriate attire!' (Although not in those words). I told her her safety is important and crucial in keeping her baby safe as well - I used the real life example of a (grandfatherly!) man there oogling her. She understood what I was saying.  

Kathy: she has a new number which I will get to you in another email.  I extended myself to her in regards to helping her with her baby so I gave her my number again too.

God's timing is always perfect and my appointment there this morning was more Divine than I realized!
