Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2010 - a new year to grow in God's word.  I'm so excited to be leading up
the Womens Connection with Pat Hartman as my manager and an amazing team of
women. God has touched my heart to reach out to the women at Lakeshore and
get the connection in action.

There are many women that have so much to give and what better way than to
take 2 hours out a month to let everything else go and give God the time to
work in us. Sometimes God calls on us to minister to others; we may not
realize how we can touch another person's heart by being in the right place
at the right time.  If you are a mom with little ones that need watching, we
will have childcare available to ALL moms at our regular meetings.  You'll
just need to call Christine Brady at 392-5383 no later than one week before
the meeting.

Our first meeting of the year is on January 23rd, 9a.m.-11a.m., with Mary
Neidert speaking on *Balancing a Busy Life and Keeping God First - w*hat a
way to start the year with God planning out our calendars.!

Then on Feb 19th and 20th is our mini retreat which will be held at the new
LC-2. Friday night will be a get-to-know-each-other night with games and
munchies (in the new ISM room, thanks to Pastor Corey!) and Saturday will
be a day of learning to LOVE ourselves.

Be on the look out for my team members on Sunday - they will be scurrying
around the atrium inviting ladies to our meeting and handing out cards to
fill out for a drawing to Women of Faith in  October. I look forward to
meeting everyone on January 23rd! May God be the center of your new year.
